Black Panther Star ‘Chadwick Boseman’ Dies Of Colon Cancer At 43

Chadwick Boseman, star of “Black Panther,” is dead. He died on Friday after a four year battle with colon cancer

A statement posted on Mr. Boseman’s Instagram account said the actor learned in 2016 that he had Stage 3 colon cancer, which had progressed to Stage 4. It said he died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.

“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you so many of the films you have come to love so much,” the statement said.

“From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”

The statement said the role of King T’Challa was the “honor of (Boseman’s) career.”

Messi Sends Message To Barcelona, “I’m Leaving’

Captain Lionel Messi has told Barcelona he wishes to leave the club immediately. Messi sent the club a document expressing his desire to leave.

Messi, 33, has a contract until 2021. Messi believes there’s a clause in his contract should that allows him to leave Barcelona for free. However,  the club maintain that particular clause expired at the start of the summer.

Barcelona said they want Messi to stay and finish his career at the club. It hinted that a legal battle could be coming and said it will not automatically grant the Argentine his wishes.
